Sheffield, 30th July 2023 – IAPWA is proud to announce its upcoming Charity Ice Bath Competition ‘Dip for Dogs’ coming on 30th July at R1se Yoga Studios.
Participants will have the opportunity to compete for a remarkable prize: a chance to join a thrilling expedition to climb Mount. Kilimanjaro or win one year's free membership at R1se Yoga Studios. It’s simple: make a donation, sit in the ice bath for 60 seconds and you’re entered into the draw. There are even double ice baths so you can take it on with a friend!
In addition to the exhilarating competition, attendees can look forward to a raffle with fantastic prizes, a tempting bake sale featuring delectable treats, and various other games and prizes up for grabs.
For those unable to attend on 30th July, R1se Yoga Studios warmly invites everyone to participate during the week leading up to the event by visiting the studios during their regular opening times to take on the plunge. Make sure to bring your towel, swimming gear and a friend!
‘Dip for Dogs’ has been making its way around the UK over the summer, and exists to raise funds for the esteemed charity International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals. IAPWA's mission is to provide vital support and aid to animals in need, championing their protection and welfare. They work tirelessly to alleviate suffering, promote animal rights, and create sustainable solutions for long-term change.
R1se Yoga Studios, known for fostering physical and mental well-being, recognizes the importance of extending compassion and care towards our fellow creatures. By hosting the ‘Dip for Dogs’ Ice Bath Competition, R1se aims to make a significant impact in supporting International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals and their crucial work.
We are thrilled to host the Dip For Dog's competition and contribute to the vital work of International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals," said Jen Downham, Co-Owner of R1SE Yoga Studios. "We invite everyone to join us in our fabulous Ice Bath Centre on the 30th of July for an exciting and purposeful event, or visit our Brook Place studio during the week leading up to it. Together, we can make a difference and help create a brighter future for animals in need and who knows you might want to join up and take regular dips down at R1SE".
“It’s been an absolute pleasure organising this, which will be the biggest Dip for Dog’s event we have ever done! It’s so great to be able to combine ice baths and animal welfare, therefore taking care of animals while taking care of your mental health! Animals deserve a voice, and we hope that by bringing Dip for Dogs to R1se Studios, and shouting about it as much as possible, we can do just that, and help give animals a brighter future and the lifesaving support they so desperately need around the world.” - Isobel Jennings, Community and Events Coordinator for IAPWA
