One of the main reasons Your Pet Food Bank was founded in 2021 was to help people who were facing financial difficulties to feed their pets without worry. 

Your Pet Food Bank has worked hard to build relationships with food banks and community centres, and has made sure that there are  frequent donations of pet food to support those in need. 

One of our goals is to ensure that the pets of people facing financial hardship are not then made homeless or given to already-struggling animal shelters.

Pets are an important part in many people's lives, and play the role of friend and companion as well as offering support. It is heartbreaking to think that people would have to make the decision to rehome their pet - and also upset a settled animal - when a bag of food could keep everyone happy and supported.
